- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★We got stuck on the highway going to Vancouver. There was a string of accidents ahead of us and they had closed the route while clearing traffic. We were a short way from the Summit Rec area and instead of being bored in the car, we got out and dug snow caves in the side of the road. Between the snow plows and the snow fall, the snow in the ditch was about 9 feet deep. It made for a great time while we waited the four hours for the traffic to clear.
